US Election 2020: Bringing the debate about gun control to the fore

The protests, unrest and looting that have followed police shootings of black people in the US, and the armed gangs of vigilantes seen in some cities, have fuelled debate on one of the key issues in any presidential campaign: the right to bear arms.

Two years ago, the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, inspired a passionate campaign for greater gun control in the US. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ correspondent Nomia Iqbal explains how one of those killed is still adding his voice to that campaign, and how the lobby that believes passionately in the 'right to bear arms' is also seeking to influence policy.
