'Disappointed and ashamed' - Carl Ikeme reacts to Nigeria civil unrest
Former Nigeria goalkeeper Carl Ikeme says he is disappointed and ashamed of the Nigerian government following weeks of protests demanding the disbandment of a notorious Nigerian police unit, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Manchester United forward Odion Ighalo has also called his country's government "a shame to the world" after a number of people were reportedly killed at a protest against police brutality in Nigeria's biggest city, Lagos, on Tuesday.
The Nigeria midfielder John Ogu has called on his team to boycott upcoming matches in protest at the country's government.
Ikeme tells Sportsworld's Lee James he can't believe the country's government would treat its own people like they have done.
