Covid in Scotland: What impact will tougher restrictions have?
The Scottish government has toughened coronavirus restrictions further in a bid to slow the spread of the virus.
The new rules, which have been introduced for the hospitality sector, mean all pubs and restaurants will have to close from 18:00 on Friday, 9 October.
The rules will apply to pubs and restaurants across the central belt, including Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Licensed premises will be able to open in other parts of Scotland - but can only serve alcohol outdoors.
The restrictions, which are set to affect 3.4 million people, will last until 25 October.
But what impact will the new restrictions have on businesses and wider society?
Policy Editor Lewis Goodall reports from Edinburgh.
