Verbally abused for wearing a mask
Tamara from Glastonbury says she has been verbally abused by people in Glastonbury because she's wearing a mask.
As we know we're all being asked by the government to wear a mask in some public settings.
She claims the anti-mask feeling and conspiracy attitudes has led to her looking to leave the town where she lives.
Our Breakfast presenter Claire Carter has been speaking to Tamara, who is one of the admin who moderates the Glastonbury coronavirus support Facebook page.
We have approached Glastonbury Town Council in response to Tamara's thoughts and they said: βWe find this concerning and will pass onto the relevant enforcement about the situation.β
We also contacted the Department of Health and the Cabinet Office in regards to Tamara saying that mixed government messages on masks hasn't helped the situation. We havenβt yet received a statement
