The single foster dad to ten North Korean boys
Tae-hoon Kim gave up a job in publishing in Seoul to become a single foster dad to ten North Korean children, all of whom crossed over the border to the South without their parents. The welcome in South Korea isn’t always warm for defectors and even Tae-hoon was cut off by his family and friends for accepting them. But he's spent the last 15 years making his house a home for his boys - including installing two washing machines and six fridges.
