Coronavirus: How the Covid-19 vaccines were developed

Covid-19 infections are on the rise globally and the pandemic has had a devastating impact across the world. Creating a vaccine usually takes years, sometimes even decades. However, in less than a year scientists have successfully produced several vaccines that could hopefully create a pathway out of the pandemic. How were these vaccines made?
