One Metre Social Distancing

The UK government is advising people to practise social distancing, but the distance varies depending on where you are.

The UK government is advising people to practise social distancing, but the distance varies depending on where you are. In Scotland, you are now allowed to socially distance at only one metre, but the advice is still to stick to two metres if you can, to protect yourself from catching coronavirus.

In England, one metre is also allowed, but the advice is the same - two metres is preferred. In Northern Ireland, one metre social distancing has been advised.

But it can be hard to know exactly what that looks like.
