Broadway star Daveed Diggs has been speaking to 麻豆约拍 Radio 5 Live about the musical Hamilton, and how it relates to the current political climate.

Diggs played Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson in the original version which is being shown on Disney+ from 3 July.

Speaking to Nihal Arthanayake, he said: 鈥淭here鈥檚 fundamental racism attached to the system, that actually doesn鈥檛 allow our participation in it the way we represent it on stage.鈥�
