Part film soundtrack - imagine the Matrix - and part mash-up of Beethoven tunes from his symphonies, Adams gives us a musical joke with a serious core. Driving rhythms and punchy interjections makes this work hurtle through time and space. It's a concerto for string quartet and orchestra but it is so much more than that!
