Covid-19: The impact of the virus on one London Bangladeshi community
Britain's Bangladeshi community stands out for being more at risk from dying of Covid-19 than any other. Why is this the case and how do those at the heart of the community feel?
A report published by Public Health England (PHE) on the impact of coronavirus on ethnic minority groups, has found that people of Bangladeshi heritage are dying at twice the rate of white Britons. Other black, Asian and minority ethnic groups had between 10% and 50% higher risk of death.
Reporter Yasminara Khan has been speaking to families in East London about the impact of coronavirus on their lives.
