George Floyd: As protests spread, what does this mean for America?
The death in police custody of African-American man #GeorgeFloyd has sparked widespread protests across the US.
The United States is experiencing the most widespread civil unrest since the 1960s.
The outpouring of anger began at the end of May, after a video showed Mr Floyd being arrested in Minneapolis and a white police officer continuing to kneel on his neck even after he pleaded he could not breathe and fell unconscious.
Dozens of cities have imposed curfews, but many people have ignored them, leading to stand-offs and clashes.
Riot police have faced off with protestors in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and LA.
So why has this tragedy sparked such a response?
US Correspondent David Grossman reports.
