Did the PM’s decision to halt the contact tracing system leave us too far behind?
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said 25,000 contact tracers, able to track 10,000 new coronavirus cases a day, will be in place by 1 June.
Boris Johnson was accused of leaving a hole in the country's coronavirus defences after halting the testing, tracking, and tracing system on 12 March.
Fast forward until mid-May and the PM has said England will have a "world-beating" tracing system from 1 June.

James Clayton reports.
