Tony Blair on Covid19, Trump and new Labour leader Keir Starmer
Former Prime Minister and Labour leader Tony Blair talks to Emily Maitlis about leadership, the government's handling of the coronavirus pandemic and the new Labour leader.
Face coverings when using public transport, home testing kits, the potential to test a million people a day.
In the absence of any vaccine we must - says Tony Blair - learn how to contain Covid19 long-term.
In an interview with Newsnight's Emily Maitlis, the former prime minister also said he backs government plans to reopen schools, but said there needs to be a "national containment infrastructure" to emerge from lockdown safely.
Mr Blair also criticised the lack of leadership shown by US President Trump, and backed Keir Starmer to take Labour forward with "serious leadership".
