Coronavirus: 'The patient that made me realise how serious this is'
Amie Burbridge is an Acute Medicine consultant, working in a hospital in Coventry, UK. She describes the emotional challenges of working in such an intense environment, and her experience with a patient who brought the severity of the coronavirus pandemic home to her. Amie spoke to us when she had just finished six consecutive twelve-hour shifts.
