I walked every block of New York City
American sociology professor William Helmreich's life-long love affair with New York City began as a child, and since then he walked every single block in the sprawling metropolis - all 121,000 of them – talking to the people he met along the way. Sadly, William recently died of coronavirus, he gave Outlook this interview in 2016.
