Coronavirus: We had 1,200 offers of help in one day
Mike Adams was aware that the vulnerable people in his small town of Torpoint, in Cornwall, south west England, could need help during the outbreak of Covid-19, when they were being advised to stay in. When he launched a Facebook group to organise volunteers who could offer to help, he was surprised to receive 1,200 offers of help in a single day. He says, "There's a lot of nice people in this world. There's a lot of ways to help that don't cost anything."
