The Superheroes of Lagos
Spoof Animations is a cartoon studio creating home-grown Nigerian superheroes. Its founder Ayodele Elegba, wants to reflect the Nigerian experience in animated form – and has recruited animators like Tunrayo Oloyede, who created the feminist superhero Jinx. Outlook’s Abdulmalik Fahd drops in on their ‘superhero factory’ in north Lagos.
