20 years ago, being gay in the armed forces was decriminalised, but have things changed? We speak to Craig Jones, the first serviceman to come out as gay after the ban was lifted.
The government has apologised for the historic ban on being gay in the armed forces, which was overturned in 2000, with minister for Defence and Veterans Johnny Mercer saying: "It was unacceptable then, and it is unacceptable now".
