Royals midfielder Pele says he's enjoying his time in Berkshire, on loan from Monaco.

It's not yet certain, though, whether Pele will remain with the club at the end of his current deal.

"Reading is a great club," Pele told 麻豆约拍 Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "I want to keep my position.

"I was out, so I want to fight for this position."

And Pele admits he's happy not being in the limelight like his creative midfield colleagues.

"We need Ovie [Ejaria] and [John] Swift, they are great players, and we are different players.

"I need to work for them to score to help the team."
