Chinese and Hong Kong students studying in Scotland
Since last summer, protests have been raging in Hong Kong with campaigners demanding full democracy and an inquiry into police actions.
Thousands of miles away from the epicentre of those demonstrations the debate is also happening here in Scotland.
Edinburgh University has seen a huge rise in the number of mainland Chinese and Hong Kong students in recent years. Some of them have taken matters in to their own hands by speaking up for what they believe in.
The Nine’s Hope Webb has been to meet two students - one on each side of the issue.
