Are Europe's rape laws letting women down?
There is controversy surrounding rape laws across much of Europe. In particular, two high-profile cases this year called into question the way Spain investigates and prosecutes claims of rape.
The UN says only a fraction of Europe's rape laws are acceptable, and that some countries must change them immediately. The Nine's Europe correspondent Jean Mackenzie has been travelling across the continent to find out more.
