3. Student Loans
From loan payments to student accommodation, uni can be a complicated place. Bea talks to Katharine from The University of Sheffield and student Sabrina for some clarification.
University is a new and exciting time for many people. But between student accommodation, applying or repaying loans, and working alongside studies, there are lots of areas that can be confusing when it comes to money while youβre a student. Bea heads to Sheffield to talk to Katharine Swindells, the former welfare officer for The University of Sheffield Studentsβ Union. She explains some of the problems students can face while at university, and lays out the important solutions that are necessary to know if youβre currently at or thinking about university. Bea also has a chat with Sabrina, a current student, about her experiences of student loans and her perspective on support offered by universities.
If youβre interested in studying abroad like Sabrina did, you can find more information about the Erasmus programme here: https://www.erasmusprogramme.com.
