Update: Tullow Oil shares tumble 70%, boss resigns
Tullow says it expects to produce 87,000 barrels of oil per day this year, but next year this is set to fall to between 70,000 and 80,000.
Chief executive Paul McDade and exploration director Angus McCoss are stepping down immediately. The announcement hurts countries like Ghana, where Tullow is the main oil producer and the government relies on revenue from the industry to fund social programs.
