Reading FC: Obita thought he would never come back
Royals defender Jordan Obita feared for his career during an injury ravaged two years.
After an anterior cruciate ligament injury, and multiple surgeries, Obita scored the first goal since his return against Millwall in a 2-1 victory.
"At maybe Christmas time, I didn't actually think I was going to come back," Obita told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor and Ady Williams. "Nothing was going right for me.
"I was trying everything the physio's offered me, and there was a massive amount of time that I was down.
"They gave me an offer to have a further operation which I didn't really want to take.
"I spoke to my family, they told me to do it, and I'm just thankful that it's worked out."
