Reading FC: Bowen delighted for Obita after Millwall goal
Royals boss Mark Bowen was pleased to see Obita score his first goal for over 2 years.
After successive injury problems over the last 2 years, Obita scored the first goal in the 2-1 win over Millwall.
"I'm delighted," Bowen told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "Jordan Obita has had two years of hell, the days of working on his own in the gym...I am delighted for him.
"The same goes for Sam [Baldock]. He reminded everyone today he has got quality.
"This was the first game I said we were expected to win. I expected us to dominate the game and I think we did.
"I look back and I think that will stand us in good stead, We showed a lot of character."
