Boeing's CEO faces lawmakers in Ethiopia and Indonesia crash inquiry
Today the head of US aircraft manufacturer Boeing will for the first time face lawmakers in Capitol Hill. An advance copy of CEO Dennis Muilenburg's comments suggest he'll accept that Boeing made mistakes and got things wrong. It will be his first public appearance since the two fatal crashes in Ethiopia and Indonesia of the 737 Max aircraft. 346 people were killed. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Newsday's James Copnall spoke to Barry Valentine, a former acting head of the Federal Aviation Administration in the US.
