Genevieve catches up with Mim in South Africa.

Miriam Backhouse was a favourite in folk clubs and festivals in the 1970s until she retired to bring up her children in South Africa. Since her children have been big enough to look after themselves - and Miriam, she has been singing again. Our Mim regularly visits the UK and plays a few folk club dates, but Genevieve met herin a garden overlooking the Indian Ocean near Durban in KwaZulu Natal. South Africa.
