Terra Firma
A young woman's journey to discover her identity through her mother's migration history, in a world used to binary notions of ethnicity and identity. This spoken word film unpacks layers of generational migration between India, Kenya and Britain, and the longing for connection between these places.
When it seems all is lost, the woman finds empowerment through her connection with other women of colour as they walk like a pack of lions, owning the British ground they walk on and the rich cultural clothing adorning them.
