Tackling climate change: Conserving the UK's peat bogs
The world needs to become "climate change resilient", that's according to a new report, compiled by leaders in politics, business and science. It recommends strategies such as early warning systems, improved infrastructure and water management. The UK hopes to play its part by reducing carbon emissions dramatically by 2050. One way of achieving this is by conserving the country's peat bogs, which lock away almost 2 million tonnes of carbon dioxide every year.Β Victoria Gill explains
