Hong Kong: Climate of fear
As the tensions in Hong Kong continue, many people have been watching the Chinese security forces building up on the border, waiting to see whether they will cross into the territory to crush the pro-democracy movement.
But there are other ways of putting pressure on the protesters and indeed their foreign friends. The arrest of a worker at the British consulate could be seen as one, the stepping up of efforts to prosecute activists another.
That's leading to suspicion between workmates, students or even friends, as our International editor Gabriel Gatehouse has been finding out.
