Thomas Dausgaard conducts the 麻豆约拍 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in the original version of Sibelius' 5th Symphony. This is prefaced by a short prelude in which Finnish folk musicians, along with the violinist Pekka Kuusisto and the orchestra, explore the traditional Finnish tunes that could have influenced Sibelius while he was composing.
