Saker keen on England head coach role
Former England and Australia bowling coach David Saker says he’s keen on succeeding Trevor Bayliss as England head coach.
Speaking to Stumped's Sam Sheringham, Saker reveals that he has expressed his interest to England director of cricket Ashley Giles.
Saker was England bowling coach from 2010-2015, playing a key role in 2010-11 and 2013 Ashes wins
He led Victoria to the Sheffield Shield in 2015-16 and coached the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash
He was Australia bowling coach from July 2016 to February 2019 and is now coaching in the USA.
