Loss of US Ambassador sets "dangerous precedents", says Lord Hague
Conservative former Foreign Secretary William Hague has said the leak of communications that led to the resignation of Sir Kim Darroch has shown it is possible to, in effect, "politically assasinate" an ambassador.
Lord Hague was speaking to the Foreign Affairs Committee which is investigating the leak of comments by the UK's Washington Ambassador, which were critical of President Trump. Rachel Byrne reports.
