Labour and anti-Semitism

This week’s Panorama investigation, broadcast on Wednesday, featured claims from ex-party officials that senior Labour figures had interfered in the disciplinary process of dealing with accusations of anti-Semitism. Since it aired tensions within the party have flared up with the Deputy Leader, Tom Watson, demanding that the party publish its submission to a formal inquiry into the issue. Isabel Fraser and Gordon Brewer speak to the former Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland, Margaret Curran and Professor Salman Sayyid from the Centre for Ethnicity and Racism at Leeds University.
