In the summer of 2018 Sadie went to the lido round the corner from her parents and decided she would like to do it again on her birthday and asked mum Rachel to come too. They enjoyed it so much they decided to do it again the next day... and the next... and carried on going every day, including Christmas day. They didn't dream of continuing through the winter but with each drop in temperature they have managed it. It is now an intrinsic part of their day and the community at the lido is a big part of that too. During their conversation they discuss the joy of swimming and the importance of their daily ritual.
