The US Secretary of State has blamed Iran for "unprovoked attacks" in the Gulf of Oman.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has blamed Iran for "unprovoked attacks" on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman. He said the US had made its assessment based on intelligence about the type of weapons used. Ilan Goldenberg is Middle East Security Director at the Center for New American Security. He tells us what this could mean for the larger geopolitics of the region.
