Flying to those in need
It’s not every day that you see an aeroplane parked outside a Church, but if you walked along St John’s Road in Hedge End yesterday, you would have seen just that.
Mission Aviation Fellowship, or M.A.F had one of their light aircraft on display as part of the church’s monthly Jammy Church. The organisation has 135 planes operating in 26 countries across Africa, Asia and South America. They transport medics, aid workers and supplies to some of the poorest and hardest to reach communities on earth.
Katie Martin made a flying visit to meet Kevin Crook from M.A.F and Maggie Blair from the church.
