The French Muslim street artist painting for co-existence

Combo says he is French first, Muslim second - and has a lot to say about how religion is discussed in French society.

One of his works, a logo called 'co-exist' that he has spray-painted in cities around the world, celebrated religious diversity; but he received criticism in the French media for inciting religious discourse on the streets of a country that celebrates secularism.

He was once beaten up for painting the logo on a wall - and his more recent projects celebrating LGBT rights in Paris have been vandalised.
