Around the continent people are living longer - and some would say - better lives. African economies are among some of the fastest growing in the world. And while this progress is laudable, doctors are cautioning that as economies grow, so are waistlines due to increased access to highly refined foods and sedentary lifestyle, leading to a sharp rise in obesity cases. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Africa's Sylvia Chebet met a 30 year old woman in Kibera, Nairobi, whose source of living has driven her to an obese state.
