In this episode, Personal Trainer Esmée tells the compelling story of how she found her strength to help others. Following a routine operation Esmée woke up paralysed from the waist down. After a long recovery she regained strength and trained to become a personal trainer. Through the Work It gym doors enters Lauren who needs a confidence boost after a breakup and Eli, who is transgender wants to bulk up to get a more masculine outward appearance.

In the gym today is 24-year-old student Lyndon, who’s is looking for love, and 31-year-old Cassie who has lost her body confidence since having two children she comes to the gym with low self-esteem, but the desire to tone up and become a role model for her children is strong. Kelechi wastes no time in taking Cassie’s under her wing with every workout move comes an empowering mantra ‘I am great!’ Cassie leaves raring to go and determined to stick to the workout plan – will she be feeling absolutely great by the end pf the plan? Meanwhile Jay compares prosthetic legs with fellow amputee Lyndon who was born without a shin bone. Having never had a proper girlfriend Lyndon, Jay understands exactly how to get his body and confidence in the right place to hit the dating scene. After a weights masterclass and a diet plan to trim up Jay’s tough approach pay’s off in more way than one for Lyndon.
