For many women, hair can be political, it can offer a sense of identity, and it can bring confidence.
But what about wigs? Why do some women choose to wear them and how important or significant can they be?
The majority of people having chemotherapy will experience hair loss as a result.
Alex Petropoulos and Angelina Hall both lost their hair after chemotherapy and turned to wigs.
They joined Jane Garvey and Azmina Verjee who works for the Macmillan Cancer Information Centre and has daily contact with people going through treatment.
