A Muslim chaplain talks about supporting the survivors of Christchurch
The Islamic call to prayer was broadcast nationally in New Zealand today and two minutes of silence observed for the 50 people who died in the Christchurch shootings. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern joined thousands of mourners near the Al-Noor mosque, one of two places of worship targeted. Newsday's Paul Hawkins spoke to Ahmed Kilani, a Muslim chaplain in Christchurch to offer spiritual support to those grieving.
