Brexit: 'EU 27 will remain united'
The Czech Republic considers UK Prime Minister Theresa Mayβs request for an extension to delay Brexit as a valid one and is looking for options that might help get to the deal, the Czech Republic Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek has said.
Speaking on Wednesday ahead of the EU summit, Mr Petricek, told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Hardtalkβs Stephen Sackur: βWhat I have discussed with my British partners is nobody really wants a no-deal solution, nobody really wants a hard Brexit.
βWhat we want is to find a way to get the agreement.β
He said he believed the other 27 countries in the EU (EU 27) will remain united on Brexit because they did not want individual member states βfollowing their own pathβ.
