What New Zealand can teach the UK about Brexit

Geographically, Britain and New Zealand couldn’t be further apart. But the Commonwealth country’s experience fifty years ago when the UK decided to join the European Economic Community could provide a useful Brexit roadmap. At the time, the UK accounted for around a third of New Zealand’s exports. Britain joining what would become the EU meant extra trade barriers and uncertainty.
