Bill celebrates WWII sweetheart Dame Vera Lynn, as she approaches her 102nd Birthday.
The marvellous Forces Sweetheart of World War 2 Dame Vera Lynn, is on the threshold of her 102nd birthday and we celebrate it on Harmony Night this Sunday with a thread of her songs throughout the programme - requested by you. And there's always a surprise somewhere in the programme. Thanks to May of East Hendred, last week it was a song called β€I've never wronged an onion so why would they make me cryβ€! This week, songs from the Maurice Winnick Orchestra, Adele, Lonnie Donegan, Engelbert Humperdinck, Matt Monro, The Four Aces and Marianne Faithful.
