With Jo now co-running Cachet Windows with Vincent, the team immediately notice her hardline approach to business.
After Fitzpatrick and Lavender sell and deliver a full set of windows to Mick Murphy, a traveling man in a caravan who doesn’t pay up, she insists on cutting their commission unless they can recover the windows or the money.

Fitzpatrick quits in protest and convinces Walshy to give him his old job back, but Lavender decides to stay on at Cachet, and try to recover the commission for himself.

Jo strikes a deal with Vincent: give her one month to prove her value and do things her way or leave if she fails. She uses her position of power to expose the truth about Lavender and Sam’s past through a ‘role play’ sales training exercise, leaving Vincent and Lavender furious at each other and at Jo for her devious techniques.
The tension between Jo and Vincent reaches a climax when they sleep together, and Jo finally has Vincent where she wants him. She gives him 48 hours to decide if he will work for her or risk Sam finding out about their affair.

Meanwhile, Sam attends a trade conference and is subject to constant sexist jokes from one of the company’s top clients. She lands the contract and when out celebrating, loses her cool in front of the client when the jokes cease to stop. In the aftermath of her outburst, her boss Andrew tries to win her over, and proposes she leave Vincent to pursue a relationship with him. Sam refuses and with Andrew’s pride damaged by her rejection, he comes up with a lie to fire her.
Unable to find a solution after Jo gains the upper hand, Vincent goes to Ronnie who has a job for him. Vincent and the family are going on holiday to Malta.
