My son’s death was ‘absolutely beautiful’
Nurse Jessica Hanson’s own loss inspired her to change the way others experience death
Jessica Hanson is a trauma nurse in the state of Arizona in the US and before the death of her son three years ago, death wasn't something she thought about that deeply. She is now determined that people should be able to have, what she calls 'a beautiful death.' Jessica believes that changing the way we experience death can be unexpectedly empowering for the loved ones of the deceased and trains the doctors and nurses she works with to help them make this a possibility.
