Asia Bibi's Blasphemy Acquittal Upheld By Pakistan Court
Pakistan's Supreme Court has rejected the final challenge to the acquittal of the Christian woman who had been sentenced to death for blasphemy. Asia Bibi spent eight years on death row before her conviction was overturned in October.
Speaking immediately after the decision, her lawyer, Saif Ul Malook says the court's ruling is "a landmark judgement".
