Reporter’s Notebook: Lisa Summers

One of the most talked about stories this week has been the news that two patients at Scotland's flagship hospital died after contracting an infection linked to pigeon droppings, although in one case the death was not linked to the infection. It has led to a full blown review of the design and construction of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
