WhatsApp to limit message forwarding
The Facebook-owned messaging service WhatsApp will no longer allow its users to forward any single message more than five times. Previously, WhatsApp users could forward messages up to 20 times.
The policy was first introduced in India six months ago after several mob lynchings were blamed on fake reports spread via the messaging service.
Dr Bex Lewis, a digital expert at Manchester Metropolitan University, warns that we shouldn't completely blame technology for social problems.
